AAMS welcomes Dr. Sykes in Faculty 2018. Dr. Jonathan Sykes is the director of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at UC Davis Medical Center. Dr. Sykes has been a full-time faculty member of the Otolaryngology Facial Plastic Surgery team since 1989, and has performed more than 10,000 procedures. Dr. Sykes has published more than 85 articles, book chapters, and two textbooks on facial plastic surgery. Dr. Sykes is internationally recognized as an innovative teacher and lecturer in the latest techniques in minimally invasive endoscopic surgery. Dr. Sykes believes "the goal of facial aesthetic surgery is to create balanced proportion of all facial features". It should provide improvement without the 'operated' look. With this busy schedule, Dr. Sykes still finds travel time to volunteer.

Dr. Teryaki specializes in aesthetic surgery procedures, with a particular focus on breast surgery, body surgery and stem cell assisted mini facelifts. AAMS is proud to have him on board for our conference 2018. Dr. Tiryaki is well known for creating natural looking results from his minimally invasive procedures. These include suspension techniques, microlifting and regenerative cell injections. He is Founder of ISAPSLEAP Surgical Relief Teams. This initiative deploys skilled surgeons to perform volunteer reconstructive surgery operations around the world.

Dr Raj Acquilla is one of the UK’s most respected aesthetic doctors. Known for his natural looking results, aesthetic eye and finesse as an injector, Dr Acquilla’s skills are not only highly sought-after by patients but also by his peers, in his role as a trainer and industry key opinion leader. Driven by his passion for science, safety and standards, Dr Acquilla has been a practicing doctor for 18 years.

A graduate of Manchester University Medical School, Dr Acquilla has dedicate much of his career to the field of cosmetic dermatology, running busy private practices in Cheshire, London and Ibiza. Yuva Medi-Spa is the realisation of his dream of creating a clinic that fuses medical excellence with well being for body and mind. An expert in facial aesthetics and, in particular, non-surgical facial contouring and beautification, Dr Acquilla regularly travels the globe to present at industry conferences in front of dermatologists, doctors and plastic surgeons who come to observe his techniques for creating natural and subtle, yet dramatic, results.

Dr. Matt Stefanelli is a French & European Board certified Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic surgeon, with a private practice in Paris & Dubai. He also has an MBA in healthcare management. In 2014, he founded iClass Anatomy, a company offering International Courses with Live demos and Anatomy dissections for Skin Rejuvenation & Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Stefanelli is a consultant for various companies in aesthetics, such as Sinclair Pharma (London), Md Skin Solutions (Luxembourg) & Skin Technology (Moscow). Furthermore, he is actively involved in Charity, as co-founder of the Worldplast Charity Foundation, and member of Sourire un Jour and La Chaîne de l'Espoir France.

Dr. Daniel Cassuto is a plastic and aesthetic surgeon. His private practice is based in Milano, Italy. He is also a professor of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the Department of Plastic Surgery of the University Hospital (Policlinico) of Modena, Italy. Dr. Cassuto has published many medical articles on aesthetics and plastic surgery and has more than 300 scientific presentations. He has also authored chapters on books on cosmetic surgery.

Dr Rami Haidar Graduated from Cairo and completed his training in the UK in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Following completion of his training, he became a member of The Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and worked at the University Hospital of Wales as a Specialist Doctor in Facial Surgery at the NHS.

Dr Haidar expanded his experience in head and neck reconstruction surgery and applied it in Aesthetic Medicine in London where he worked privately in parallel to his NHS job. He moved to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia in 2012 to join the Oral & Maxillofacial team at the National Guard Hospital as a Specialist Doctor. He continued his aesthetics practice working in one of the most prominent aesthetic clinics.

Academically, Dr Haidar is an accredited International trainer and a regional Speaker in the aesthetic industry. He has given talks in international conferences and a key speaker in dermal Filler; thread lifting and Botulinum toxin workshops.

He was certified as an accredited trainer by Sinclair in Paris in 2015 & joined the Sinclair family to become one of their main international speakers and trainers.

Dr. Rami Haidar was promoted to a specialty post in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, which was a major step in his career. It increased his exposure to new and broader aspects of surgical & medical emergencies and furthered his skills in leading teams & supervising SHOs. He has been appointed as an honorary clinical fellow in restorative dentistry in which he is involved in restorative dentistry clinic.

With constant passion and concern in the field of beauty, Dr Raul Chiobas considers aesthetic medicine a challenge and a fulfillment. His professional career is marked by the constant desire to perfect and to continually search for the newest, most efficient and effective methods of beauty. He has perfected his surgical techniques in the most famous clinics in the world, from Stokholm, Milan, Tel Aviv (Israel), Barcelona, ​​Germany, etc. Where training followed.

He had the opportunity to operate even in Tokyo at the aesthetic surgery clinic Ikeda Clinic, as part of a breast augmentation demonstration. Dr Lim Ting Song is part of faculty AAMS 2018. Graduated from Tohoku University School of Medicine under the Monbusho Scholarship, Dr Lim is a talented multidisciplinary physician with a diversified background. As an aesthetic physician for close to a decade, Dr Lim actively involves in many academic research and training in Asian facial and body aesthetics, pigmentory disorders, laser medicine, clinical application of fillers’ rheology and facial overfilled syndrome. With a multilingual background, Dr Lim speaks 4 languages (English, Mandarin, Malay, Japanese) fluently, and has been a frequent speaker and trainer in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan and China. Credentialed by Ministry of Health Malaysia, Dr Lim was the early few receiving Letter of Credentialing & Privileging (LCP) as certified Medical Aesthetic Practitioner in Malaysia.

Dr. Rungsima Wanitphakdeedecha is a dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon in Bangkok, THAILAND. She completed her dermatology residency in 2003 at Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, THAILAND. She has been serving as a faculty in Dermatosurgery Unit, Department of Dermatology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University since then.She completed her research fellowship training in Procedural Dermatology at the University of Texas- MD Anderson Cancer center, Houston, Texas, USA, and Laser and Cosmetic Surgery at Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery, Washington DC, USA in 2007 and 2008, respectively. She has lectured nationally and internationally on the topics of dermatologic surgery, laser, and cosmetic procedures. She has published many book chapters and manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. We are happy to have her in faculty for AAMS 2018.

Dr. Jinda Rojanamatin is a dermatologist, certified by the Royal College of Thailand. He graduated Doctor of Medicine from Chulalongkorn University, Diploma of Thai Board of Dermatology from Institute of dermatology. Then he continued the professional training in Fellowship in Dermatosurgery and Laser, Teikyo University, Japan and Certificate in Cosmetic Dermatology, University of Miami, USA. Currently, he is an Acting Director and Head of Dermatosurgery and Laser Department at Institute of Dermatology, Bangkok. He has also served on the board of Dermatological Society of Thailand. Currently, Dr.Jinda is an Deputy Director at Institute of Dermatology, Bangkok. He has also served on the Chairman of Scientific committee of Dermatological Society of Thailand. Dr. Jinda Rojanamatin has been invited as a speaker at the several prestigious international meetings, such as World Congress of Dermatology, International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, including International Congress of Dermatology and Eurasian Congress in Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine. His major topics of interest are skin laser surgery, as well as, Botulinum toxin and Fillers. He is joining us at AAMS 2018 as Faculty Member.

Dr. Filip runs ESTHETICS MED in central Halmstad while teaching herself to a specialist in rheumatology (autoimmune diseases).
In 2012 she started her career in the aesthetic industry with education in, among other things, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France and Italy. With increased knowledge in anatomy, complications due to invasive surgery and injection techniques, she was appointed Key Opinion Leader for the Danish company NOSCOMED, a Scandinavian supplier of world-renowned international company MERZ AESTHETICS. At the same time, Dr. Filip course leader in fillers and toxin treatments for Mybeauty Academy.

Dr. Cole  initiated his private clinic in Atlanta, US, in 1990 after his graduation from medical school. Having received strong inspiration from the work of Dr. Masumi Inaba, which involved isolating single hair follicles with state-of-the-art microscopes and precision surgical equipment, Dr. Cole devoted his professional life the formulation of up-to-date and minimally invasive hair restoration techniques.

As one of the first hair surgeons to practice with the FUE technique, Dr. Cole conducted pioneering practice by using uniquely-designed surgical equipment to isolate single hair follicles. The CIT ® (Cole Isolation Technique), an approach patented by Dr. Cole, maximizes the probability of extracted grafts surviving and, moreover, leads to outstandingly naturalistic results. This is primarily because the innovative technique facilitates ‘cherry-picking’ from the donor site.

To continue developing highly precise surgical equipment with the intention of increasing accuracy and efficiency, Dr. Cole has since been a world-leader in research focusing on the formulation of harvesting and restoration instruments. In being one of the first practitioners of the Lateral Slit Method, Dr. Cole rose to the forefront of the field of surgical equipment development. We are honored to have him on board with us for AAMS 2018.

 

 

Since 2015 Dr. Insalaco has collaborated with the Department of Plastic Surgery of The University of Rome Tor Vergata, together with Dr. John P. Cole (USA), in order to develop a pioneering research project in the field of regenerative medicine (PRP, STEM CELLS) and its application in the treatment of alopecia. Unique results are about to be released. Dr. Chiara Insalaco had the opportunity to learn a lot thanks to his teachings during her visits in the United States. In his clinics in Atlanta she acquired the technique developed by Dr. Cole, the so called CIT® (Cole Isolation Technique). This method of Follicular Unit extraction is based on a mini-invasive technique, as it requires a minimal extraction depth.

Through this FUE method follicular unit stem cells remain in the donor and can be regenerated thanks to extracellular matrixes such as Acell®. Dr. Chiara Insalaco plays an active role in the S.I.TRI (SOCIETÁ ITALIANA DI TRICOLOGIA). She is one of the few experts in Italy to be part of the “Pubblico Registro Dei Medici Tricologi”, that lists those physicians who meet the requirements for the protection of patients who suffer from scalp pathological conditions.

Konstantinos Anastassakis M.D. Ph.D, is board-certified by the Athens Medical Association & the Hellenic Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.  Dr. Anastassakis has built his practice in Athens into one of the best in the industry, if not the best! Dr. Mahmoud Ezzat received his BDS degree from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt in 2002.
He then attended a four year training program by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and received their membership degree in General Dental Surgery (MGDS RCSEd) in 2008.
He then participated in the Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD) speciality training program supervised by the Royal College at Misr University, for his remarkable performance he was invited to become an instructor at this same program.
In 2011 he was appointed Deputy MRD course director at Future University in Egypt for their postgraduate speciality program.
He is the founder of the Diploma in Implant Dentistry training program awarded by the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
In 2013 he attained a Fellowship degree in Laser dentistry from the University of Genova Italy and has been lecturing on the subject ever since.
In 2015 he attended several International DSD World tours and has reached the DSD Master level in DSD accreditations (1st DSD Master in Egypt). In August 2015 he co-lectured the DSD World Tour in Cairo, Egypt with DSD Founding Members Christian Coachman and Livio Yoshinaga and was elected DSD Lecturer. He keeps a full time private practice in Cairo specializing in Esthetic and Implant dentistry since 2004.
